Many of us will have a treasured piece of children's artwork and here at Artful Kids we have a particular love of children's art, which has a directness and honesty about it that is all too soon lost. While a photograph can capture the external image of childhood, there is nothing quite like a child’s art to capture the inner life of that child at a given moment in time. For this reason we strongly believe that children’s art deserves to be valued and given greater prominence within the home.
Artful Kids was originally founded to offer parents a range of creative ways to display children's artwork. We still offer this, but along the way we have added a whole range of quirky, creatively inspired gifts and products, suitable not only for children, but also for the 'big kids' in their life. After all why should children have all the fun? Taking enjoyment from creativity and imagination shouldn't come to an end just because you grow up.
Our concept of a Children's Art and Creativity Boutique is unique and difficult to define. What this site does not aim to do is offer a comprehensive range of equipment and materials for children’s art and crafts. There is no shortage of fabulous sites offering these. Nor are we a toy store or a children's furnishings site. Instead, our product range has a personality of its own, being hand-picked and eclectic in nature. We try to focus on unusual, hard to find items as far as possible, and to this end we source our products from all over the world, often from other small businesses. We are enthusiastic about what we do, taking enormous pride in helping our customers get the best out of what we have to offer. Rather than offer a 'one size fits all' approach to our customers, we will go out of our way to meet your needs, so if you have any queries about any of our products, please don't hesitate to contact us.
The collection is constantly evolving and being added to, with new products and resources being added all the time. You can keep up with our latest news and special offers, by following us on Facebook and Twitter, or by subscribing to our business blog Artful Adventures.
