Competition Result
We had some fantastic entries for the Fly Thomas Cook Paint by Numbers competition, a real variety of imaginative approaches were used, from glass painting and glitter, to cotton wool and even pipe cleaners. With such variety and imagination it was quite difficult to pick a winner, but I can now announce that the winning artwork is the picture below, by Jake Coleman, aged 5:
Jake used collage and glitter to produce his artwork – it looks wonderfully sunny and full of light. Jake will be taking delivery of the following items as his prize, and hopefully he will have lots of fun creating with them:
- Wooden easel (choice of colour pink or blue)
- Mister Maker bumper craft box
- Play Dog Magic Ice Cream Playset
- Rainbow Aquadraw
(Charlotte – someone will be contacting you to arrange delivery of Jake’s prize, but if you don’t hear anything soon, then let me know!)
If your artwork didn’t win, then hopefully you’ll have better luck in future competitions, but I’d like to thank everyone who entered – I hope you and your children all had fun creating them. Don’t forget to watch out over the next few weeks for more free online printable games to keep little ones entertained on journeys, courtesy of Fly Thomas Cook.

Congratulations Jake!

@Anna: Oh no, poor thing – it’s tough learning that you can’t always win when you’re little.
Well done Jake – great picture x
