It’s half-term and with the kids being off school, time for blog writing is in short supply, so as it’s almost Halloween, it seemed like an opportune moment for a quick post to show off my hand-painted children’s spider T-shirts. I’ve been spending quite a bit of time making them recently to fulfill a little flurry of orders – perhaps it’s the time of year!

They’re quite easy to make, requiring only a minimum of artistic skill! The spider itself is painted on a black T-shirt using a metallic grey/black fabric paint, ‘suspended’ from a line of sparkly silver ‘thread’.
